Before you start

Who can use this feature

Supported on any team or plan.

You need a Community profile to follow creators and save files. Plugins and widgets can be saved without a Community profile.

Show your support by following creators and saving your favorite files, plugins, and widgets.

You can't follow creators or comment when browsing Community as a team or organization admin. Manage team and organization profiles →

Follow a creator, team, or organization

Follow individual creators, or follow a team or organization to stay in the loop with their creations.

You can follow creators from a few different places in the Community:

  • Search results: On the Creators results page, click Follow next to a creator.
  • Community profile: Click Follow underneath the creator's name.
  • Resource page: Click the creator's name on the resource to open their profile, then click Follow.

Save a resource

Save your favorite files, plugins, and widgets to quickly access them in the future.

To save a from Community resource, click Save at the top of the resource’s Community page. You can also “like” a resource by clicking the heart button to show the creator your appreciation.

Note: You can also save plugins and widgets directly from a design file or FigJam board. Learn more about browsing resources in Figma Design and FigJam.

View and manage your saved resources

Access saved files, plugins, and widgets from Community

If you have a Community profile, you can view your saved files, plugins, and widgets from the Saved tab of your profile. This tab is only visible to you.

Note: Saved files can only be accessed from the Saved tab of your Community profile. Saved plugins and widgets can be accessed from the Saved tab as well as Figma Design files and FigJam boards.

  1. Navigate to your Community profile.
  2. Select the Saved tab.

To remove a saved resource, click Remove from saves.

Access saved plugins and widgets from a Figma Design file

  1. Click Resources in the toolbar.
  2. Select the Plugins or Widgets tab.

Your saved resources display under Saved and recent at the top of the modal.

Note: If you are using Dev Mode in Figma Design, your saved plugins display on the Plugins tab in the right sidebar under Saved and recent.

To remove a saved resource, click Remove from saves.

  1. Hover over the pile of icons in the toolbar and click More.
  2. Select the Widgets or Plugins tab.

Your saved resources display under Saved and recent.

To remove a saved resource, click Remove from saves.
