Figma Buzz was released in open beta at Config 2025. It is currently available on all plans and seat types. Learn more about what’s included in the beta.

Who can use this feature

Who can use this feature

While in beta:

Figma Buzz is free for everyone.

Publishing templates is available on all paid plans. Professional teams can create five team templates.

Once Figma Buzz is out of beta, it will be included on the Full, Dev, and Content seats, in addition to our free Starter plan. We’ll notify you before that happens.

Start from a template or from scratch to create exactly what you need. Edit, riff, and refine in a simplified editor.

If an asset on your canvas has a blue outline, it doesn't have template guidelines and can be edited freely. If an asset has a pink outline, it will have template guidelines built into it by the template creator. Template guidelines added by template creators can be removed.

Once you’ve added text to the asset, you can select the text layer and edit:

  • Fill
  • Border
  • Font
  • Font style
  • Size
  • Formatting like bold, italics, and strikethrough
  • Text alignment
  • Effects like opacity, shadow, and blur

Click to shorten, rewrite, and translate text using Figma AI tools.

Images

Add an image to an asset from your computer or make one with Figma AI. Once the image is on the canvas, you can:

  • Add a border
  • Crop, scale, rotate, flip, and reposition the image
  • Adjust the image’s corner radius
  • Effects like opacity, shadow, blur, and overlay

Click to make a new image, remove background, or boost resolution with Figma AI tools.

Shapes

Add shapes to an asset that can contain a fill like a color, image, or gradient.

Inserts

Use Inserts to add objects from your team libraries to an asset.

Select multiple objects

You can select all matching text, images, or across assets on your canvas to make edits to them in bulk. In order for Figma Buzz to identify matching objects, they must contain the same content, like a string of text or image.

To do so:

  1. Select an object in an asset, like a text field or image.
  2. From the selection’s menu, click > Select matching objects.

Note: It’s not possible to select matching objects between assets with template guidelines and assets without guidelines.

Use Figma Design tools

Toggle in the toolbar to use Figma Design tools in your Figma Buzz file.
