Figma Slides decks are a specific type of file in Figma. You can access them your other files in the file browser.

Create a slide deck in your drafts

Everyone with a Figma account has a drafts section in their team or organization. You can think of your drafts like a sketchbook or notebook, a place where you can explore early ideas and experiment with different concepts.

Drafts are private to you. Only people that you specifically invite to a draft will have access to the draft. There are no limits on how many slide decks you can create in your drafts.

There are a few ways to create a new slide deck in your drafts:

From the file browser

1. Open the team or organization space you wish to create your deck and click Drafts in the file browser.
2. Click Create new and then click Slide deck.

Type figma.com/slides/new in the address bar or visit figma.com/slides/new.

Create a slide deck in a team

If you have can edit access to a team, you can create new slide decks within that team. This will allow other members of the team to find and view them.

To create a slide deck in the team, you will need to choose which project the deck will live in. If you change your mind at any point, you can move files between projects and teams.

1. From the file browser, navigate to the team.
2. Open the project you want to create the deck in.
3. Click Create new and then click Slide deck.

When you create a new slide deck, you’ll see the template picker. This is where you’ll browse for and add templates to your deck. 

To start your deck without a template, select Start from scratch or click anywhere outside of the template picker to dismiss it.
