Streamline your work and add data, text, and images to your board with the import and paste functions.

Import from CSV

We all know and love spreadsheets for their ability to gather and organize large amounts of data, but they're not the best place to sort and discuss their contents as a team. FigJam's CSV import function lets you bring all that good stuff currently trapped in cells to your board in the form of a FigJam table.

For example, imagine you have a form your customers fill out to provide product feedback that's gathered in a spreadsheet. You can import the file to your board and turn the responses into a table, then discuss, color kbd, stamp, and sort them as a team over an audio call.

To import a CSV, drag and drop the file into your board or:

  1. Click in the top toolbar.
  2. Go to File > Import from CSV.
  3. Select a CSV file and click Open.

You can also copy and paste cells right from a spreadsheet to your board.

When the import is complete, the data in the CSV cells are converted into a FigJam table.

Note: Tables have a 500 cell limit. If your CSV files contains more than the limit, only the first 500 cells of data will be imported. If you have more than 500 cells of data you'd like to bring to FigJam, consider adding multiple tables!

    Import images

Give your team the bigger picture by adding images to your board. FigJam supports PNG, JPG, GIF, TIFF, or WEBP image formats. GIFs can also be added to your board, but they won't be animated.

To add images, drag and drop them into the board or click and select from there.
