Our vision is to make design accessible to all. To advance this, we’ve developed the Figma Community to enable people around the world to share and discover creative work. Please help us build a high-quality, inclusive community by following these Community Guidelines and reporting any violations.

By using the Community, you agree to these Community Guidelines. This is a living document and will change over time. You can see when these Community Guidelines were last revised by referring to the “Last Updated” legend above.

These guidelines do not cover every possible scenario and are designed to offer general guidance on how to use the Figma Community. Figma reserves the right to remove content or take other restrictive actions at any time.

Community Guidelines

I will respect the intellectual property rights of others

The Figma Community is a place to share your own work with other Figma users. Please don’t post anything you do not have the right to post.

Learn more about our Copyright and Intellectual Property policy.

I will only post content that is relevant, respectful, and useful

We are building a welcoming and inclusive community. We don’t allow any type of illegal, inappropriate, spammy, or abusive content or behavior in the Community.

Learn more about our Acceptable Use Policy and Code of Conduct.

I will not violate others’ privacy

We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable participating in the Figma Community. Please ensure that your published content does not contain someone else’s personal information.

Learn more about our Acceptable Use Policy.

I will give credit for inspiration

Guidelines for republishing and remixing resources differ between free and paid resources.

  • Free resources: Do not duplicate another user’s work and republish to the Community without meaningful modification or alteration.

Learn more about our Acceptable Use Policy

  • Paid resources: Remixing or republishing paid resources is prohibited.

See the Community Paid License for more details.

I will comply with Figma’s Trademark Guidelines

You may use the Figma name, logo, and wordmarks in your design file, plugin, widget, or other Figma Community resource if you comply with Figma’s Trademark Guidelines.

Below are some examples of what type of use is allowed and is not allowed. We encourage you to read through our Trademark Guidelines for more information on appropriate use. If you have questions, contact Figma Support for additional guidance before using our marks.

Allowed: You can refer to Figma or our products in your resource’s title. For example: Tom’s plugin for Figma Design

Not allowed: Don't include our name (or part of our name) in your company name, resource names, domain name, or social media handle. For example: Figdesigns

Report a violation

Help us keep the Figma Community strong and protect our users’ integrity and safety.

You are an important part of the Figma Community. If you see something you think may violate our guidelines, help us by reporting the resource.

When you complete the report, provide as much information as possible - such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content - so we can review it quickly. Upon receipt of such a notice, we will seek to confirm the existence of the reported material, and as appropriate, take whatever action, in our sole discretion, we deem appropriate, including temporary or permanent removal of the content from the Figma Community.

Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between Figma users. If one of your creations was posted by someone else, try contacting the violator directly and ask for the content to be taken down. If that doesn’t work, file a copyright report.

We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe there is a risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.

Appeals: If you have any questions about the Community Guidelines, or believe that your listing was removed incorrectly, contact us at content-reviews@figma.com.

Abuse: It is Figma’s policy, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly violate these community guidelines, are repeatedly charged with violating these guidelines, or whom provide Figma with improper or false notices.
