Disable cursor chat

By default, people can send messages in Figma Design and FigJam files using cursor chat.
Figma doesn’t keep a record of these messages, so turning off cursor chat can help regulated customers use Figma in a way that meets their compliance needs.
Disable cursor chat
When cursor chat is disabled, users won’t be able to start a cursor chat in both Figma Design and FigJam files.
- From the file browser, select Admin.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Under Other, find Cursor chat and move the toggle to the off position.
